Classes in Pasadena are now open.

Currently some classes are invitation only and class size is limited. Please email swordsinc@yahoo.com if you are interested in taking classes and training at Swords. Please include your fencer's name, current experience - whether new to fencing or fencing at an international level, and how many days your fencer would like to attend class. We have classes for all levels, ages, and ability, but again, space is limited. We will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours.

​Please Note- $3 Fee added per $100 for PayPal payments.
If paying by check, simply subtract the three dollar fee. For example, the Monthly fee for once a week would be $190, unless paying by PayPal..

Burbank Studio - Main

We offer competitive and beginner classes at our main Burbank Studio, as well as open fencing. We have up to 7 strips available for fencing.  Just off the 5 freeway, the studio is centrally located to downtown Burbank eateries and shops

Intermediate - Advanced Classes:
Our competitive program. We focus on technique, strength, conditioning, strategies, and situation-based bouting. Coach approval is needed to join these classes. Private lessons must be accompanied with this program.

Kids Elite 12:30pm - 2:30pm

 Junior Advanced Class - Meant for Ages 8 - 13
Fencers must be taking private lessons and must be competitive to participate in this class. Ask for instructor approval to attend.
Sundays   12:30 pm - 2:30 pm (Please sign up for the newsletter to know when classes will occur. Due to tournament schedules, not every Sunday will have these advanced classes)
Cost: $30/session 

Open Floor:
Open to all fencers with electrical equipment.  Come and fence, all are welcome!.

The Pasadena studio is located near a Starbucks and behind the Mattress City storefront. The entrance gate is on Rosemead next door to Mattress City.  There is plenty of street parking on Rosemead. or on Mountain View, and surrounding residential streets.  Please avoid parking next to the double yellow lines.

For fencers ready to move up and focus on competitions, this class stresses technique, strength, conditioning, advanced strategies and situation-based bouting. All fencers must be taking private lessons and can be entered into the class with coaches' approval.
