Aidan Kung with Coach Tigran
With a new Div I format and Cadet events, Detroit was a tough tournament, but our fencers came out with more experience and better sense of where their training needs to go. Coaches Tigran and Sorah helped them along the way and look forward to the season and future tournaments!

Cadet Women's Epee

48th - Irene Yeu
Out of a tough field of 274, Joseph Rafidi finished with a Bronze medal after a tough bout with eventual Gold medalist Justin Yoo. Joey fenced an amazing top 8 bout with Alexander Tsinis where he came from behind to win with a 15-13 victory. Unfortunately, Joey ran out of steam in his semi, but a great job for someone working 60+ hours a week and with minimal training. Congrats to Joey and Coach Tigran!

36th - Emon Daroian
37th - Stephen Ewart Jr

Congratulations again to all our fencers and our coaches for a tough, but good tournament! Good luck in the future!
