SDFC RYC Results

The San Diego RYC yielded medals in every event we participated in! Go Swords! Starting with Friday, Lauren McLane took home her first Silver medal in Y12 Women's Epee which is amazing with her hectic Hong Kong travel schedule! Zoe Kim fenced well and gave a hard time to the much older fencers and finished 12th. Great job girls!

We had great results with 2 Gold medals in the Y14 Men's and Women's events with Stafford Moosekian and Irene Yeu. Lauren McLane also did wonderfully and finished with the Bronze in the Y14 Women's Epee event as well! Brian Ferrants received his first medal with a 7th place finish in Y14 Men's Epee as well. Great job everyone!

Y1o Women's Epee yielded a Bronze from Zoe Kim who beat her teammate Isabel Kim who finished with a 6th place medal. In Y10 Men's Epee, newer fencer Chris Dekermanji finished with a Bronze medal and younger fencer, Thien Scofield took home the 8th place medal.

In Y12 Men's Epee, Swords swept the finals and had 4 medals overall! Congratulations to Jackson Norbutas with his Gold medal, Rowen Hicks with his Silver medal, Saam Mohebi with his 7th place medal, and to Darius Kim with his first Y12 Medal with an 8th place finish! Congratulations to Coaches Jason Pinchuk, Sorah Shin, and Tigran Shaginian
