Congrats to our top finishers at the 2014 Summer Nationals held at Columbus, Ohio.
Stephen Ewart was our top fencer with his 2nd place finish in the Y14 Men's Epee event. He also earned points in both Junior and Cadet Men's epee leaving him in a solid 17th position in the Cadet rolling points enabling him to travel to international events this upcoming 2014-2015 season. Congratulations and great job, Stephen! Nicole Agob did well as well and earned top 32 finishes in both Junior and Cadet women's epee placing her in a firm 10th position in the Cadet rolling points. Excellent job Nicole! Stafford Moosekian in his last Y10 Championships placed a solid 9th place after a hard loss to Andrew Graber from Alliance the eventual Silver medalist. Good job, Staff! Esther Ruiz finished a great 16th place in Cadet Women's Epee by defeating the 3rd ranked Cadet woman Farrah Lee-Ebald 15-10. Excellent job, Esther! New additions Jamie and Rachel Bang have been working hard and put out a strong effort. Jamie earned some Junior points by placing in the top 64 of a very large field after taking out the 33rd seed in her 2nd DE. Rachel Bang earned her first top 32 points by placing 30th in the Y14 Women's Epee event. Great job girls! Emily Beihold performed well and earned a top 16 finish in the Div III Women's Epee event and finished 31st in Y14 Women's Epee. Good job, Emily! Emon Daroian and Christopher Kim both had top 32 finishes in their respective events, Y14 Men's Epee and Y12 Men's Epee, a first for both. Great job guys! Excellent work guys! We look forward to seeing what the future has to bring and the results of all your hard work! Congratulations all of you and see you next year in San Jose, Ca!
