Winter 2021 Fencing Camp featuring Guest Coach Michael Aufrictig

Open to any and all! Come sharpen your fencing skills with the Head Coach of Columbia Fencing

Swords Fencing Studio is proud to present a winter season camp with Columbia Head Coach Michael Aufrichtig. Come work with Coach Aufrichtig he works on bringing your fencing skills to the next level. Fencers will work on their mental strength and strategy while on the piste while also improving their techniques through bouting, footwork drills, and more.  

This camp is an great opportunity to heighten your fencing skills while training alongside competitive national-level fencers. Swords Fencing Studio continues to abide by Covid-19 safety protocols per California regulations, including wearing face masks and conducting proper social distancing. 



The camp is open to all participants regardless of membership at Swords Fencing Studio. Please come join us! Due to Covid-19 regulations space is extremely limited. 

Camp Dates:
December 27th, 2021 to December 29th, 2021
27th and 28th: 9:45 am - 4:30 pm
29th: 9:45 am - 2:30pm
There will be a special seminar held by Coach Aufrichtig concerning college fencing and recruitment following the camp session on the 28th:
​5:30 pm - 7 pm

Columbia Coach Michael Aufrichtig

Michael Aufrichtig is in his eleventh season as the head fencing coach for Columbia University. Columbia Fencing won the 2015, 2016, and 2019 NCAA Championships and won the Men's Ivy Championships (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) and Women's Ivy League Championships (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020). Michael Aufrichtig is the 2016 USA Fencing Coaches Association Varsity Coach of the Year and Women’s Ivy Coach of
the year in 2015, 2019, and 2020.
