First of all, we wanted to thank all the parents, volunteers, students, and referees that made our 4th Annual RYC such a success! With the long hours and new venue, there were bound to be some issues, but it looks like we had it run fairly smoothly! Thank you to our Swords family for all their help and to the CSUN Student Rec Staff for making accommodations as we held our largest event yet with over 360 fencers in attendance!

Congratulations to our fencers who earned ratings and did well in the first Game of Swords event held at our main Burbank location at 134 S. Glenoaks Blvd, Burbank, Ca 91502.

In the Open Epee event, Stephen Ewart took Gold after beating St. John recruit Luis Dealba-Yount in the finals.

In the Women's Epee event, Kasia Nixon placed first after a good final against our own Olivia Xu.

Congratulations to Artem Bortnik and Kristen Kim for earning their D15s by placing 6th and Erin Hatcher for earning her E15 by placing 8th. Great job guys!
