The Junior Olympics in Cleveland Ohio was a great event for our students! In the Cadet Men's Epee Event, Stephen Ewart finished with the Bronze and Aidan Kung placed 7th earning his first Cadet National points! Stephen Ewart Jr with his third place finished locked in his spot on the USA's Cadet World Team and will be representing Team USA in Bourges France in April 2016!!! In the Junior Men's Epee event, Emon Daroian finished with a respectable 18th place out of 268 fencers.
The Junior Men's Epee team of Stephen Ewart, Emon Daroian, and Aidan Kung(who are all Cadets) placed 2 ranks higher than their seed and took home the Bronze medal!!! The Junior Women's Epee team of Jamie Bang, Rachel Bang, and Emily Beihold finished 13th after losing to the 2nd place team of LAIFC. They put up a good fight and fenced well for their first team event together! Great job guys and girls! Keep working and achieving those goals!

Overall we had a great showing with a Silver, 2 Bronze, a 6th, 7th, and 2 8th place medals! Full results can be found here Carl Borack SYC. The National Fencing Club Rankings put out a report and Swords Fencing Studio earned the top ranking as the best performing club for Youth Men's Epee at the Carl Borack SYC!
