Coach Tigran and Junior Stephen Ewart traveled to one of the hardest Junior World Cups held in Helsinki to fence and to hopefully clinch a Junior World Team spot for Stephen.
Stephen fenced well and finished in an impressive 31st out of 234 fencers!! This earned him a spot as the number 2 fencer in the USA and a berth to represent the US in the World Championships in April as a Junior World Team Member! Congratulations to Stephen and his coaches! Stephen fenced for the Cadet World Team last year and was able as a first year junior to make the Junior World Team as well this year! What a great achievement! Congratulations to Stephen and Swords Fencing Studio!
