Congratulations to our fencers who competed in Austria this past weekend at the first Cadet World Cup of the season!

It was a first time experience for Stephen Ewart Jr and Esther Ruiz.

Stephen Ewart Jr(pictured on far right) had an excellent finish by placing 5th place overall out of a field of 221 international fencers! His loss came to the eventual Gold Medal fencer.

Belinda Mo(pictured on far left) fenced well but lost a close 14-15 bout to make it to the top 8 and placed 15th overall.

Esther Ruiz(pictured in the middle) in her first world cup placed a respectful 32nd earning international points as well.
